Thanksgiving Thursday. Our Bible studies consist of the Word of God and a meal. We meet every Thursday. 2nd Timothy is our main scripture: 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. It is imperative that all Kingdom citizens be equipped in the word of God. The enemy attacks us with trial and tribulation, be if we are not grounded in the Word. We will fall victim to his schemes. When Jesus was led into the wilderness, we see the devil attack at the Lord weak point in the flesh. The beauty of Jesus in this moment, He fought his battles with the Word. Jesus spoke His identity to the devil, for Jesus is the Word of God. John 1 1:5 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [a]comprehend it.
